Introducing…
The Inner Athlete: A Musician's Guide to Performance Conditioning
68 tips to help you better condition yourself physically and mentally for a successful career in music.
Hi, i’m chris. I help musicians, bands, and artists build the tools for repeatable high performance, without burning out.
[ An open letter to aspiring high performers ]
Performance conditioning is not generic fitness.
As much as aesthetic goals, PB’s, and max strength are solid goals to strive for… They’re not the point of what we do here (even though, if you train with us, you’ll find yourself achieving them without thinking).
Instead, we focus on building the physical, mental, and neurological foundations that allow you to perform with ease.
To do that, you need to view your physical, mental, and brain health as a single entity.
We condition the mind and the nervous system in the same way we condition the body.
And we treat recovery as an art and a science, just like the training itself.
Performance Conditioning is every action you take today that shapes how you perform tomorrow.
3 Ways i can help you

What THE PEOPLE SAY
“[Working with Chris] I’ve made more progress over the last year than I did in the previous five. Not only am I thrilled with the impact on myself, but the improvements in how I navigate life have been invaluable.”
“I’d trained consistently for years but struggled to escape a cycle of progression and injury. With Chris’s guidance, I am finding more functionality across all areas, not just strength, and I’m finally making progress once more.”
“The combination of Chris’s ability to explain high-level complex concepts in digestible bites, as well as being able to quickly assess areas of weakness, makes him an incredible coach. His style of looking at the body and brain holistically makes so much sense, I question why more aren’t approaching performance in this way.”
“When life gets busy and you have to refine your redlines, you want to know the hard work will actually pay off. With Chris, it does. I’d highly recommend working with him to anyone looking to gain more clarity and focus in their training and improve their quality of life.”
